Want to learn how the professionals cover their cakes with fondant and achieve a smooth sharp edge? Well you can in this hands class along side Janene from Sugar Top Cakes.

Our classes are kept small to ensure personal attention and support thought the entire class, with only 4 spots available! 

*Please note; minimum 2 students is required for this class to run*

Suitable for intermediate to novice, this fun class will help students take their figurine and cake decorating skills to the next level 

During class we focus on 2 different techniques for covering cakes with fondant that can be used though out your cake decorating adventures

In this Class you will learn how to

Mix gel colour with Fondant 

Time saving tricks for covering a cake board

Prepare a cake* to cover in fondant

The "Traditional Method" to cover a standard height cake* in fondant

The "Wrap Method" to cover a tall cake * in fondant

Achieve sharp edges

Clean and finish your cake* 

Package, transport and store your cake correctly

Please note we will be working on Styrofoam Cakes* during class

Cake Information

In this class you will be covering a 8" round x 4" tall and a 6"round  x 6" tall Styrofoam  Cake*

not edible.

What do you need to bring

Nothing, just yourself! 

All materials, ingredients and aprons will be provided on the day of class
Please note in the comments section of your Checkout or in your email if you have any Dietary requirements i.e Gluten Free, Vegetarian ect

Please arrive 15min prior to the class start time and wear comfortable closed toe shoes.
